Being from a small town bowling was one of the few activities on weekends we had to choose from. Bowling was one we actually enjoyed. Eating hot dogs, nachos and fries while sipping Coke’s we’d watch as our friends would roll the ball down the slippery lane. Sometimes it was a gutter ball and sometimes we lucked out with strikes. And, sometimes there would be a joker who would slide down the lane with the ball. Our parents did it, their parents did it and our children will do it.
